novi AMS didn’t hire a “sales guy” for a reason. They wanted someone who knew associations to the core. Enter Mike. His background is in associations, not sales, and he knows them inside and out. This is why he relates so well to the novi AMS customer – he has been in your shoes and he understands your frustrations! He loves the unique position he has of “novi Evangelist,” which includes generating conversation, generating leads and introducing people to the product.

Mike has used just about every sort of association software out there, and brings his extensive knowledge of associations to the forefront of novi AMS to work alongside his customers.

Graduating from Auburn University in 1995 with a degree in International Business and Marketing, Mike has ten years of experience in association management, starting when he became the Executive Director for the Georgia Economic Developers Association, after being a heavily-involved member. Following his passion for associations, he moved on to an association management company, where he worked for three years before joining novi AMS.

Mike knows that associations give people the ability to create long-lasting relationships and companies the ability to grow, which makes this industry so important. He has committed to knowing the ins and outs of the novi AMS product, including QuickBooks accounting knowledge and technical components, so that he can better help his association clients help others.

Besides making an impact on the way associations do business, Mike enjoys volunteering with his church. Fun fact, he speaks French and authors a blog on all things beer. He touts that it is the “regular guy’s guide to drinking beer.” Mike’s biggest claim to fame is that he knows how to fold a fitted sheet and can whip up some of the world’s best guacamole and salsa. What keeps him most busy, however, is his family and all the sports that his children are involved in. He currently lives in Atlanta with his wife, Leigh, and his three “little monkeys,” Nate, Elizabeth and Brooks.
